In Dec 2007 I purchased a Nu Wave Oven Pro. I use it once each day. It is now May 29 and today I just received the second replacement dome because the first 2 domes developed large cracks, just from normal use. I complained to the seller who told me that the dome I received today was going to be heavier. Well it isnt heavier it is exactly the same as the last 2 domes, made of plastic!! I would never have purchased the oven if I knew that the dome is made of plastic. It cannot endure high temperatures.

I'm still deciding. |

| 16. Written by LaTisha, on 03-08-2009 13:45 I bought a Nuwave oven a few months ago and everything was working fine but last night I cooked a roast in it and I went to wash it. While I was washing it I noticed that it had three small cracks in the dome and they were only gettin bigger. It has never been dropped it just sits on my counter and cooks stuff so I guess it just over heated and caused cracks, I dont know. but i'm not going to worry about buying a replacement dome because what I've read its possible the replacement will crack also  |

| 19. Written by Ron, on 14-10-2008 20:14 Use the nu wave oven pro all the time. (4x wk) My dome is now getting a crack in it also after 6 months. I had the flavor wave deluxe oven, went through two of the heaters on them. $70.00 for a new heater out of warranty. So, both need to improve their flaws. Nu wave company should give free replacement glass domes. |
