I just called Customer Service at NuWave to order a replacement dome for my NuWave Pro and I was told it would cost $39.95 plus $15 shipping and handling.I paid $100 for the entire unit.

This would be my third dome in 2 yrs. I use the NuWave almost daily and no one uses it but me, so I am very careful with the dome. The domes have both cracked during the cooking process, right before my eyes, and not from misuse. The cost of the replacement dome is way too high.

I bought an extended warranty, but now they say that is only for electrical parts.

Highway robbery.I'm not a happy camper.

Add water to the base tray to prevent cracking.NuWave should already know this method since they mad the machine but apparently it's all about the money.

My first dome was held together with duck tape. Got a nuwave from goodwill for twenty bucks.

A friend mom advised me to fill the TRAY with Water.Never had a problem after that.

Actually tea is better because of the alkaline.
