Nuwave Oven - Rip off experience!!! Stand alone burners don't work
Husband got for Christmas present... we were moving so put aside for the new kitchen.
He spent tons of money for useless burners!!! They don't work without special pans that only this company happens to sell. Hmm? So they are useless and the company falsely advertised them and made my husband, and I, think they worked with all pans.
Buyers Be Aware!!! This company is a real rip off and now we have to buy the pans or have 2 great and expensive door stops. Too bad, moving and redoing the kitchen, he thought it would be nice to have extra burners we could use camping and while we were renovating. Shame on you Nu Wave for fooling people to spend hundreds while they trust in you and your product.

If you are talking about the NuWave PIC induction cook tops then you didn't understand what they were when you ordered them. It was not a lack of information from NuWave, it was a lack of understanding on your husband's part.
As far as NuWave being the only company that sells pans that work with these cook tops that is not true. You can use any pan that is made of ferrous materials. Cast iron pots and pans, carbon steel pans, and many stainless steel pans will work with induction cook tops. Aluminum pans will not work and many nonstick pans are made of aluminum.
What NuWave provides are, in my honest opinion, some of the best nonstick pans available that are also induction cook top compatible which is a great benefit. I've had my 2 cook tops and the 8" and 10" pans for years and they have held up very well.
I've had Calphalon nonstick pans that haven't lasted as long and kept their nonstick properties as long as my NuWave pans have. So please don't blame NuWave for your misunderstanding of a product without properly researching what it is you are buying.
